What we collect

• The manuscript text, abstract, and metadata you upload to receive a review.
• Account information (email, password hash, optionally ORCID).
• Aggregated usage and error telemetry needed to keep the service running.

How we use it

• To compute your manuscript's review and journal recommendations.
• To improve the recommendation pipeline through opt-in evaluation only — never on identifiable manuscript content without your written consent.
• To send service-related email (password reset, beta status, scheduled maintenance).

What we don't do

• Sell data to third parties.
• Use your manuscript content to train generic foundation models.
• Share manuscripts with anyone outside your account, including academic publishers.

Data retention & deletion

You can delete a manuscript at any time. Deletion removes it from our database within 24 hours and from our nightly S3 backup within 30 days.
